We believe in digital sovereignty, fair competition, and supporting local innovation. Our mission is to make it easy for people to discover and switch to European alternatives that often offer better privacy, sustainability, and values alignment.

What We Mean by "European"

When we say "European," we mean the broader Europe — not just the European Union. This includes companies from the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and other European countries. We celebrate innovation from across the entire European continent.

How We Choose Alternatives

Services featured on MadeByEU meet at least one of these criteria:

• Headquartered in Europe (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, or other European countries)
• Data stored on European servers
• Subject to European privacy and consumer protection laws
• Founded and primarily operated by European teams
